Nintendo Switch – News & eShop (Video)

The Nintendo Switch comes out this Friday! If you haven’t already, please check out Adam Roffel’s review of the console itself. And if you were wondering what the Switch’s eShop looks like, take a look at the video below and then come back to hear what I have to say about the new eShop.

The Nintendo Switch’s eShop looks very bland. The design of the shop is very basic and uninteresting, especially compared to the 3DS and Wii U shops. Even so, this simple design should lead to the shop being easy to navigate, which I suppose is the reason why it was designed that way.

As for the rest of the video, the news and the general interface for the Switch look pretty boring. I say all this as someone who is pretty excited for this new console. Here’s hoping Nintendo adds themes (like the 3DS) to the system menu.
