Microsoft Promises Biggest E3 Ever

When early photos of the E3 2018 show floor were leaked to the public, many people scratched their heads and wondered why, when compared to Nintendo and Sony, Microsoft’s booth space was so small! Well, thanks to an announcement today by Xbox leadership, the reasoning behind that has been made clear. While Microsoft will still have a presence on the show floor at E3 this year, they are moving the bulk of their announcements and games to an entirely different venue, the Microsoft Theatre.

For those wondering about what that means for them attending, it appears as if it won’t be that much of a hassle. Microsoft will still be in the Los Angeles Convention Centre, with multiple Mixer stations set up for attendees to use. And according to the release via Major Nelson, the Microsoft Theatre is just across the road form the convention centre, meaning it will be easily accessible for fans and media alike.

During our time at E3 last year, we enjoyed the ability to quickly get from booth-to-booth, all under the same roof. Having to travel to another location sounds like a hassle to us, but as the saying goes, “Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it.” So, here’s hoping that despite a separate venue, getting all that great Xbox content won’t be a pain!

We will have more on E3 coming up!
