Details Announced for The Division 2 Post-Launch Content
Earlier today, Ubisoft announced the full details for The Division 2 Post-Launch content, including the entire year of free content as well as the Year 1 Pass. This content follows The Division 2‘s endgame focus by giving players a full year of free post-launch updates with additional Episodes, major content updates, missions, PvP and PvE game modes, and specializations. Each specialization brings a new signature weapon and an entirely unique skill tree to unlock and master as players take on these new high-level challenges.
The following content can be expected in the free year of The Division 2 Post-Launch:
The Tidal Basin
This challenging new stronghold held by the Black Tusks faction will be released shortly after launch, so keep an eye out!
Operation Dark Hours
Also releasing very close to launch, Operation Dark Hours will be the first 8-player raid ever seen in The Division franchise.
Episode 1, D.C. Outskirts: Expeditions
Releasing in Summer 2019, players will be able to traverse the surrounding areas of Washington, D.C. to fight for liberation of the city in two new main missions and a brand-new game mode.
Episode 2, Pentagon: The Last Castle
Coming to The Division 2 in Autumn 2019, this episode will also feature two all-new main missions that allow players to storm the Pentagon and uncover the secrets hidden beneath one of America’s most iconic and secretive locations.
Episode 3, Unnamed
Available to Agents in Winter 2019, this episode concludes The Division 2 Post-Launch free content and will close the first chapter of The Division 2 story, while paving the way for future content.
Year 1 Pass
In additional to all of the free post-launch content, the Year 1 Pass (which comes included with Gold and Digital Ultimate editions of the game, and is also available for separate purchase) will offer players 7-day early access to Year 1 Episodes, 8 Classified Assignments, Instant Unlock of new Specializations (as they are released) and much more!
